Tron is a 1982 American action science fiction film by Walt Disney Pictures. Tron was one of the first motion pictures to have its own distinctive visual style and extensive computer graphics.
Sometime not too long ago in the early part of 2004, when the Ebaums meme-machine was still in its infancy and ED was still just a spark in Girl vinyl’s eye, world wide web memes had been spread by way of electronic mail and then picked up by web-sites such as Something Awful and Fark.
This particular tale is no different. At some point in the year 2003, a computer systems manager from Minnesota known as Jay Maynard made the decision that all of the TRON costumes he had observed on the internet sucked.

Some brainiacs found said website and emailed it to all their friends, who e-mailed it to all their friends and gradually it sprang up on Slashdot. Just viewing an extra fat guy with a mustache in spandex with a camel-toe was horrible enough, it became the ‘SA’ Dreadful link of the moment, and from there the man in the leotard began harming our Internets and the TRON Guy was born.

Despite the fact that it’s obvious that Tron Guy is not anyone’s idea of a super hero hunk, I feel he’s a excellent choice for convincing a younger, more plugged in audience of MS’ cool factor.
You gotta give this guy credit as most mortals would not even dare to don a spandex suite.
